Difference Between Body & Facial Acne

September 27th, 2008

In this article we will compare body and facial Acne and try and show just what the difference is between these to forms of skin disorder if any. As we all know Acne is a disease of the sebaceous glands and as these glands are all over the human body then the Acne that is on a person’s face is the same as that is on their body. In fact there is no difference at all in the Acne found on a person’s face as to that found on either the upper arms or trunk of a person’s body. You could if you want treat the Acne on the body with the same medication that you would use for facial Acne, but there are companies now which are producing Acne treatments which have been specifically designed for the treatment of body Acne.

Certainly as with facial Acne which affects the face the most common areas that are effected by body Acne are the back, chest, shoulders and sometimes even a person’s buttocks. Those found on the buttocks can often be a sign of a more severe Acne and the lesions that this form of Acne produce are often large and painful.

As with facial Acne the exact causes of body Acne are unknown, but it is know that irritation of the skin disease can actually make it worse. So it is best if you avoid wearing tight fitting clothing or carry a backpack or purse on your shoulder as these can only irritate and cause further pain when you suffer from body Acne. So when looking for a treatment that will not irritate your skin but will help to treat the problem both inside and out then you should look at using something like Zenmed Body Acne Treatment System. This not only has a treatment of capsules which need to be taken internally, but it also has external treatments made using both natural and clinical remedies for treating the external Acne outbreaks on the skin.

So as you can see from what has been written above when you compare body and facial Acne there really is no difference in what they are. However, today no longer do you need to use a facial Acne treatment for dealing with body Acne as there are companies which have now designed products which are specifically for treating body Acne.
